COVID-19 Test Results

North Central College reports the number of known positive COVID-19 test results among the campus community within the tables below. Campus community members who have had known contact with someone on campus who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be notified directly by a contact tracer/case manager and informed of next steps. Probable cases are not included in the figures below unless or until such individuals receive a positive test result. However, the College treats probable cases in the same manner as positive cases by enacting isolation and contact tracing measures per the College’s positive test protocol.

The figures below reflect positive COVID-19 tests reported during spring 2021 semester among members of the College’s on-campus community, which is defined as students attending in-person classes, students living in campus housing, and faculty and staff working on campus. Individuals who have opted to attend classes or work fully remotely for the entirety of spring 2021 semester are not included in the data.

The College reports positive COVID-19 test results identified through its ongoing surveillance and athletics testing, as well as positive tests self-reported through the College’s COVID-19 Reporting Form. Due to the possibility that not all positive tests are reported to the College by members of the campus community who test positive outside of the College’s own testing process, the information below may not represent all positive COVID-19 tests among the campus community.
