COVID-19 Test Results
In an effort to keep the campus community informed, the College will report the number of known positive COVID-19 test results among the campus community within the table below on a timely basis. Campus community members who have had known contact with someone on campus who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be notified directly by a contact tracer/case manager and informed of next steps. Symptomatic individuals are not included in the table below unless or until they receive a positive test result; however, the College treats these as positive cases and enacts isolation and contact tracing measures as necessary per the College’s positive test protocol.
These figures are based on positive COVID-19 tests reported through the College’s COVID-19 testing process, as well as those self-reported through the College’s COVID-19 Reporting Form. Due to the possibility that not all positive tests are reported to the College by members of the campus community who test positive outside of the College’s own testing process, the information below may not represent all positive COVID-19 tests among the campus community. The figures on this page reflect positive tests reported since the College’s official COVID-19 testing and contract tracing process went into effect on August 6, 2020.

North Central College COVID-19 Test Results
The figures below represent the results of the College’s testing strategy for members of the campus community during the Fall 2020 semester, which included entry testing, ongoing and surveillance testing. Ongoing testing was conducted among student-athletes and athletic staff participating in organized sports activities, and weekly surveillance testing was conducted among approximately 5% of the general population of students, faculty and staff, and 10% of students living in the College’s residence halls. Entry testing was conducted among student-athletes, coaches and athletics staff participating in organized fall sports activities; and residential students arriving from states with high incidences of COVID-19.
The College will resume its testing program in advance of the Spring 2021 semester.
