Dear Campus Community,

Thank you for doing your part to maintain a safe and healthy campus community while COVID-19 mitigation remains a part of our lives. We understand how difficult it has been to adapt and live with this new reality, and we greatly appreciate your incredible efforts to take good care of yourselves and one another.

The College will continue to follow the Illinois Governor’s orders, including the latest April 2022 update.  We want you to know what to expect on campus related to COVID-19 effective immediately.

What to expect:

  1. Students, faculty and staff engaged in on-campus activities such as: classes, labs, athletics, teaching and working must complete the COVID Reporting Form if they test positive for COVID-19 and follow the guidance of their medical provider, health department staff member, and/or the CDC.
  2. Students are expected to contact their faculty if they have to quarantine or isolate to inform them of any expected time out of class. If a resident student must quarantine or isolate, it is expected that they do so at home. If they cannot do so at home, they should call the Area Hall Director on Duty as soon as possible between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm at (630) 816-5298.
  3. Faculty, staff and student workers are expected to inform their direct supervisor if they need to quarantine or isolate.
  4. Unvaccinated students, staff and faculty are expected to test weekly. Beginning the week of May 16, the COVID testing site located in New Hall (Multi-purpose room on the lower level) will offer testing on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:00-10:00 am until further notice.
  5. Students, staff and faculty are expected to stay home when not feeling well and follow the guidance provided by the CDC.
  6. Contact tracing provided by the College will continue for student-athletes who are actively completing their current season and will otherwise cease at this time for student-athletes who are not actively competing in-season.
  7. Student-athletes who are actively completing their current season must also follow any specific guidance from the College’s Office of Athletics.

If you need medical services, registered students and faculty/staff can call the Dyson Wellness Center (630-637-5550) or seek medical services off campus. Registered students can also seek medical services 24/7 through TimelyCare. Learn more about what to do if you are sick.

Again, thank you for your ongoing contribution in keeping our campus safe and thriving.
