Spring Semester

  • For the upcoming semester, students, faculty, and staff who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19:
    • Must submit proof of a negative COVID-19 test result to the College prior to January 10.
      • Details regarding how to submit proof of a valid test result will be shared via email the week of January 3.
      • To help facilitate re-entry testing, the College’s COVID-19 testing site will be open during the week of January 3. Click here to view testing days and hours.
    • Must participate in weekly COVID-19 testing beginning the week of January 10.
      • You can start scheduling your testing appointments now through your MySHIELD Illinois account.
  • New this semester, fully vaccinated students, faculty, and staff may choose to participate in weekly on-campus COVID-19 testing. More details regarding this process will be forthcoming from the COVID-19 Testing Team.
  • Continuing with our existing protocols, any campus community member who tests positive for COVID-19 or is experiencing COVID-19-related symptoms is expected to complete the College’s COVID-19 notification form and should not return to campus until cleared to do so.

 COVID-19 Booster Recommendation

  • All students, faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to receive a COVID-19 booster shot as soon as they are eligible.
    • Per CDC guidance, individuals ages 16 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster shot at least six months after completing their initial two-dose vaccination series (Pfizer or Moderna), or at least two months after receiving their single-dose vaccination (Johnson & Johnson).
  • Booster shots will be available at Dyson Wellness Center’s upcoming Flu & COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics on January 11 and February 1. The clinics are open to all members of the campus community and registration is not required.
  • The College is not currently requiring members of the campus community to submit proof of their booster shot.
