Dear North Central College Campus Community,
We are pleased to announce that the Institutional Response Team (IRT) has developed a set of protocols that will allow for the limited expansion of student organization-sponsored in-person activities on campus, including intramural sports, and music and performing arts groups that are formally Registered Student Organizations within the Student Governing Association (SGA). These new and updated protocols include:
- Intramural Sports Protocol
- Music & Performing Arts Activities for Extracurricular Student Organizations Protocol
- General On-Campus Event Guidelines
All events and activities must follow the College’s existing health and safety guidelines and the #TogetherNC pledge. To help assist and guide event planners and attendees, the IRT has developed a Risk Rubric for on-campus events.
Along with these new protocols, additional on-campus locations have been identified to provide for flexibility in reserving on-campus spaces. More details are available on the Athletics & Campus Events page of the College’s COVID-19 website.
Additional details for student organizations will be forthcoming from the SGA via Blackboard.
Thank you to the IRT’s Campus Facilities Subcommittee for their work in developing these protocols to provide additional extracurricular opportunities on campus while prioritizing the health and safety of our community.
