Please click on the button below to read the latest COVID-19 update from the College’s Institutional Response Team (IRT). This message was sent to the campus community via email on Friday, August 5.
What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?
Members of the campus community who test positive for COVID-19 should report their positive case to the College using the COVID-19 Reporting Form (click on the button below), and should immediately follow applicable quarantine & isolation guidance as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Health & Safety Information
North Central College is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of the campus community. The College’s Institutional Response Team (IRT) continues to actively monitor the COVID-19 landscape across the state and within our region, and will update the College’s health and safety protocols as necessary. Please be mindful of the following:
- All campus community members are expected to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the requisite number of booster shots for those who are eligible.
- Per the recently updated executive order by the governor of Illinois, the College no longer requires campus community members to submit proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status, and weekly COVID-19 testing is not required for those who are not fully vaccinated.
- North Central is a mask-friendly environment. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to wear a mask in any setting if they choose, and wearing a mask should not be considered an indication of an individual’s vaccination or health status.
